Distributors Make 10 Tech Investments in 2022, Down From 16 in 2021
We logged 6 investments and 4 acquisitions by distributors in 2022, an overall 38% decline from 2021 activity. (click to enlarge chart)
In 2022, distributors made 10 tech investments and/or acquisitions, a 37.5% decrease from the 16 tech deals made in 2021. This decrease in tech investments almost mimics the decline in all VC activity in the US. Here is the overall VC investments in the US from Pitchbook.
